.NET & AI/GenAI\n\nExperience : 12 - 18 Years\n\nLocation : Gurugram / Delhi NCR\n\nEmployment Type : Full-time\n\nAbout the Role : \n\nWe are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager - .NET & AI/GenAI to lead engineering teams, own product architecture, define technical roadmaps, and drive the development of scalable enterprise software platforms.\n\nThe ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on expertise in C# and .NET Core, strong architectural leadership, and practical experience integrating AI/Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications.\n\nThis role requires a technology leader who can translate product vision into engineering strategy, make critical architectural decisions, and build secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions while exploring AI-driven product innovation.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Own end-to-end product architecture and long-term technical roadmaps for enterprise software platforms.\n\n- Translate business and product requirements into technical strategy, architecture decisions, and implementation plans.\n\n- Design and evolve scalable applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, microservices, and distributed systems.\n\n- Identify opportunities to integrate AI/GenAI capabilities into existing products and new software solutions.\n\n- Architect AI-enabled applications using LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, AI agents, and enterprise AI services where appropriate.\n\n- Lead architecture reviews, system design discussions, technology selection, and engineering standards.\n\n- Drive legacy modernization, monolith-to-microservices migration, performance optimization, and platform scalability.\n\n- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, QA, Data/AI teams, and senior leadership to align technology investments with business goals.\n\n- Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, promoting technical excellence and accountability.\n\n- Ensure software quality through code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, security practices, and observability.\n\n- Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-assisted engineering tools to improve developer productivity and delivery efficiency.\n\nRequired Technical Skills : \n\n- Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and modern .NET.\n\n- Proven experience designing end-to-end product architecture and enterprise application solutions.\n\n- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and system design.\n\n- Expertise in SOLID principles, design patterns, clean architecture, and scalable application development.\n\n- Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud architecture.\n\n- Strong database design and optimization skills using SQL Server or equivalent relational databases.\n\n- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.\n\n- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.\n\nAI / Generative AI Capabilities : \n\n- Practical experience integrating AI/GenAI capabilities into enterprise applications or software products.\n\n- Familiarity with LLM APIs and services such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, or equivalent platforms.\n\n- Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.\n\n- Knowledge of AI agents, tool/function calling, workflow orchestration, and enterprise AI integrations.\n\n- Ability to assess AI use cases based on business value, technical feasibility, cost, security, and scalability.\n\n- Understanding of responsible AI implementation, data privacy, access control, monitoring, and evaluation of AI outputs.\n\n- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or equivalent is an advantage.\n\nArchitecture & Technical Strategy : \n\n- Demonstrated ownership of technical roadmaps and long-term engineering initiatives.\n\n- Ability to translate product vision into architecture, technology choices, and executable engineering plans.\n\n- Experience defining architecture standards across multiple services, modules, or products.\n\n- Ability to evaluate trade-offs involving performance, scalability, security, maintainability, cost, and reliability.\n\n- Experience modernizing legacy enterprise platforms and introducing new technologies without compromising system stability.\n\nEngineering Leadership : \n\n- Proven experience leading and mentoring software engineering teams.\n\n- Ability to guide senior engineers and make high-impact technical decisions.\n\n- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\n- Experience in engineering planning, prioritization, delivery governance, and cross-functional collaboration.\n\n- Experience with hiring, performance reviews, and career development is an advantage.\n\nExperience & Qualifications : \n\n- 12 - 18 years of overall software engineering experience, including substantial recent .NET experience.\n\n- Previous experience as an Engineering Manager, Technical Architect, Solution Architect, Principal Engineer, or senior Technical Lead.\n\n- Experience building enterprise products, SaaS platforms, or complex business applications.\n\n- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, subject to company education requirements.\n\nIdeal Candidate Profile : \n\nWe are looking for a hands-on technology leader who combines deep .NET expertise, end-to-end product architecture, technical roadmap ownership, engineering leadership, and practical AI/GenAI integration experience.\n\nCandidates must demonstrate real architectural ownership and the ability to align engineering decisions with product and business outcomes.
