Import and distribution of chemical materials for customer industries throughout Europe is competence and business of our privately owned group. We are growing on our own. Our multinational team - currently situated in fifteen locations in Europe and Asia - belongs to the best performing sales organizations of our multinational and local clients. Having a healthy financial basis, we continue to expand our personnel organization and offer attractive positions at several European sites.

Tasks

Your Business and Area of Responsibility

Our customers are local and multinational manufacturers of Adhesives, Composites, Coatings, Resins & Binders, Polymers, Polyurethanes, Rubber, etc.

• You are responsible for a defined number of your own customers and handle all aspects of the customer relationship, including the retention and growth of customer volumes.

• You handle post-sales activities, including interaction with logistics and professional communication with customers to address changes, delays, overdue payments and other logistical challenges.

• You act as a reliable contact for industrial customers, supporting sales activities; internally you collaborate with our Product Managers and Field Sales.

• You prepare offers and tenders and follow up on ongoing business opportunities.

• You process incoming orders and enter negotiation results into our CRM system.

• You identify opportunities to increase sales and gather market insights via phone and email.

• You support our Field Sales with system entries, order processing and administrative tasks.

• You follow up on our sample process and maintain accurate data administration to support operational efficiency.

• You manage occasional claims and complaints professionally.

Requirements

Your Profile & Talents

• You are committed to customer service and can represent our company in occasional negotiations as well as establish trustful relations.

• You have 5+ years of experience within a B2B sales organization, working with all levels of stakeholders, preferably within an international distribution company. Experience in business with chemical raw materials is an advantage.

• You preferably hold a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, supply chain management, international business, international trade or a related field. Knowledge of Incoterms and fundamental business processes is an advantage.

• You have a high degree of resilience and organizational skills.

• You have an accurate work style and a hands-on personality.

• You are a team player, eager to learn and interested in understanding processes and connections.

• You have excellent communication skills, being business fluent in German and English. Apart from that Italian, French and Turkish would be a plus.

• You have profound experience with CRM-/ERP-systems.

Our Offer

• The minimum annual gross salary for this position is €38,640 on a full-time basis, in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (KV Handel), plus an additional bonus. A market-competitive salary above the collectively agreed minimum will, of course, be offered depending on qualifications and experience.
