In this position, you will play a key role in developing, configuring, and maintaining automation and manufacturing software applications. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in the cardiovascular and CMO industry.\nPlease note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop, configure, and maintain automation and manufacturing software applications.\nDesign, implement, and integrate solutions connected to DCS, MES, historians, databases, and related manufacturing systems.\nCreate and maintain software solutions using technologies such as VBA, PowerShell, C, SQL, and Git-based version control systems.\nPrepare software design specifications, functional specifications, and other engineering documentation in compliance with GMP and company standards.\nSupport system interfaces, data exchange, and integration between OT and IT platforms.\nExecute software testing, commissioning, qualification, and deployment activities.\nTroubleshoot and resolve software and system issues through root cause analysis.\nMaintain and enhance existing applications to improve reliability, performance, and user experience.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Automation, Manufacturing, Validation, Quality, and IT, throughout the project lifecycle.\nEnsure compliance with cybersecurity, data integrity, and change management requirements.\nKey Skills and Requirements:\nDegree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.\nStrong IT background with expertise in software development, databases, networking, and system integrations.\nExperience with automation and manufacturing systems such as DCS, MES, or data historian platforms.\nProficiency in programming and scripting languages, including VBA, PowerShell, C, and SQL.\n-Understanding of software lifecycle management and application support.\nExperience working in GMP-regulated environments and creating GxP-compliant documentation.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nFluency in English and/or German.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences manufacturing.\nKnowledge of DeltaV, Syncade, PI System, or similar industrial software platforms.\nFamiliarity with software validation (CSV-CSA methodologies) and data integrity requirements.\nUnderstanding of OT infrastructure and cybersecurity principles. \nIf you are having difficulty in applying or if you have any questions, please contact Olivier Worch at .\nApply Now:\nIf you are interested in applying to this exciting opportunity, then please click 'Apply' or to speak to one of our specialists please request a call back at the top of this page.\nProclinical is a leading life sciences recruiter focused on finding exceptional people and matching them with the finest positions across the globe.
