This hands-on position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quality and compliance goals.\nSkills & Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in engineering or scientific discipline, or equivalent experience.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.\nStrong electrical and mechanical background preferred.\nExperience creating and analyzing charts in Excel is a plus.\nKnowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, SPC, ASQ, or ISO process controls is advantageous.\nPrior experience in a regulated industry, such as medical devices, or working in a biohazard/lab environment is preferred.\nEffective verbal communication and excellent technical writing skills.\nAbility to generate and maintain organized and accurate records.\nPhysical requirements: Sitting (70%), standing (30%), frequent lifting (up to 5 lbs), occasional handling/push-pull (up to 50 lbs), and operating basic hand tools.\nThe Failure Analysis Engineer's responsibilities will be:\nConduct product testing and failure analysis to ensure compliance with quality standards.\nCollaborate with quality assurance engineers and team members to implement and maintain effective inspection and testing procedures.\nGenerate, review, and maintain quality records, including training documentation, internal audits, NCRs, and CAPAs.\nPerform investigation triage and deep-dive analyses to develop hypotheses for failures.\nReview Lot Acceptance records and Device History Records (DHRs) and create trend charts.\nCollect, log, and analyze quality data to identify trends and drive improvements.\nLead quality investigations and root cause analyses.\nAssist in gathering information during FDA and ISO 13485 inspections.\nApply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.\nTroubleshoot new failure modes and evaluate process and engineering controls to enhance safety and performance.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nIf you are having difficulty in applying or if you have any questions, please contact Anderson Maldonado at .\nIf you are interested in applying to this exciting opportunity, then please click 'Apply' or to speak to one of our specialists please request a call back at the top of this page.\nProclinical is a leading life sciences recruiter focused on finding exceptional people and matching them with the finest positions across the globe.
