This role focuses on integrating IT and OT systems, ensuring secure and scalable infrastructure solutions, and aligning with global standards. You will play a key role in coordinating activities across teams, managing external service providers, and supporting compliance with regulatory requirements.\nPlease note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.\nResponsibilities:\nDefine, design, and oversee network architectures for enterprise and industrial environments, ensuring alignment with global IT-OT standards.\nDesign and implement segmented IT-OT architecture zones, including DMZs, VLANs, and secure data flows, supporting SCADA, PLC, DCS, MES, and shop-floor systems.\nAct as the primary infrastructure lead, coordinating network and hosting activities to ensure infrastructure readiness and support project milestones.\nDrive alignment between project designs and corporate standards, conducting architecture reviews and approvals.\nSupport site deployment activities, including assessments, design validation, cutovers, testing, and go-live.\nCoordinate integration of on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based network and hosting platforms into end-to-end infrastructure solutions.\nOversee external service providers, system integrators, and network vendors, ensuring quality and compliance with project requirements.\nEnsure adherence to GxP, data integrity, and cybersecurity standards (e.g., IEC 62443, ISO 27001) and support audits and risk assessments.\nMaintain architecture documentation and validation-relevant deliverables.\nTransition into an on-site owner for IT run services post-project go-live, establishing support models, monitoring, and service KPIs.\nDrive network standardization, modernization, and lifecycle management initiatives.\nKey Skills and Requirements:\nExpertise in network architecture and infrastructure design, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, and network security.\nExperience in IT-OT integration and segmentation concepts, with a track record of delivering large-scale projects.\nAbility to translate architectural designs into practical, sustainable operational solutions.\nKnowledge of GxP-regulated environments and compliance requirements.\nFamiliarity with IT service management, incident/problem management, and operations governance.\nStrong coordination and communication skills across global teams and stakeholders.\nProficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.\nExperience in regulated industries is advantageous. \nIf you are having difficulty in applying or if you have any questions, please contact Klajdi Metkola at .\nIf you are interested in applying to this exciting opportunity, then please click 'Apply' or to speak to one of our specialists please request a call back at the top of this page.\nProclinical is a leading life sciences recruiter focused on finding exceptional people and matching them with the finest positions across the globe.
