We’re building a disciplined, data-driven growth engine - and paid media is a critical part of that foundation.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for a Senior Equipment Technician to join our technical team and play a key role in maintaining and elevating our equipment quality standards.\nIn this role, you’ll work hands-on with a wide range of coffee equipment-diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing machines while leading complex technical workstreams. You’ll also mentor other team members and help build the processes and standards that support a high-performing operation.\nThis position is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys solving complex problems, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is excited to expand into the specialty coffee space.\nWhat You’ll Do\nEquipment Diagnostics & Repair\n Diagnose, repair, and refurbish espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and related equipment. \n Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues across multiple brands and systems. \n Test and validate equipment performance to ensure it meets quality standards before shipment. \nTechnical Leadership & Project Ownership\n Lead technical repairs and refurbishment projects from initial assessment through completion. \n Work independently on complex issues while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. \n Support pre-sales and post-sales technical needs when required. \nProcess Development & Quality Standards\n Develop and document repair procedures, workflows, and best practices. \n Establish and maintain quality control standards across all equipment servicing. \n Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement long-term solutions. \nTeam Support & Training\n Mentor and train technicians and warehouse staff on tools, processes, and technical skills. \n Share knowledge to improve team capability and consistency. \nOperations & Cross-Functional Collaboration\n Partner with operations and sales teams to provide technical expertise and product insights. \n Manage parts inventory, sourcing, and vendor relationships to support repair workflows. \n Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability.\nRequirements\n4+ years of hands-on experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or a related technical field (e.g., appliances, industrial equipment, HVAC, automotive). \nStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities. \nAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and service manuals. \nProven ability to manage multiple projects and work independently. \nHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. \nStrong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. \nAbility to lift and move equipment (50+ lbs). \nInterest in coffee equipment or willingness to develop expertise in the field.\nBenefits\nComprehensive training to help you build expertise in coffee equipment, regardless of prior industry experience. \nOngoing professional development and technical learning opportunities. \nClear path for career growth and leadership within a scaling company. \nAutonomy and ownership in a goal-oriented work environment. \nExposure to a wide range of advanced and specialized equipment. \nOpportunity to work with an international team passionate about craftsmanship and quality.\n**Only applications and CVs submitted in English will be considered**\nPro Coffee Gear is an equal opportunity employer.
