This is not a pure operations role. You will work across cloud infrastructure, Linux, containers, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, observability, security, troubleshooting, and platform architecture. You will support enterprise client environments, ProCogia products, analytics platforms, and emerging AI infrastructure. We value strong engineering fundamentals, systems thinking, curiosity, and the ability to quickly learn and take ownership of unfamiliar technologies.\nKey Responsibilities \nDesign, build, and operate secure, scalable, reliable cloud environments, primarily on AWS, with exposure to Azure and other enterprise platforms.\nContribute to cloud and platform architecture across availability, scalability, security, disaster recovery, performance, and cost optimization.\nBuild and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.\nDesign and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and operational workflows.\nBuild and operate containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.\nAdminister and troubleshoot Linux systems, networking, IAM, authentication, certificates, secrets, and access controls.\nImplement monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and reliability practices.\nLead or support production troubleshooting, incident response, root-cause analysis, and long-term remediation.\nSupport cloud migrations, platform upgrades, infrastructure modernization, and reusable platform patterns.\nSupport enterprise analytics platforms such as Posit and work with engineering teams on MLOps, generative AI, GPU, and emerging AI infrastructure.\nWork directly with clients to translate requirements into architectures, implementation plans, estimates, and technical solutions.\nContribute to architecture reviews, engineering standards, technical proposals, and team knowledge sharing.\n\nWhat You Bring \n5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field.\nStrong production experience with AWS, Linux, Terraform/IaC, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.\nStrong scripting or programming skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go, or similar.\nExperience with cloud networking, IAM, security, monitoring, observability, incident management, and troubleshooting.\nExperience designing reliable, scalable production environments.\nStrong systems thinking and ability to contribute to platform and infrastructure architecture.\nStrong communication, ownership, and client-facing skills.\nAbility to quickly learn unfamiliar enterprise technologies.\n This is a fully on-site position, and you will be required to work from the Vancouver office on all five days (Monday through Friday). \nPreferred Experience: Experience in one or more of the following is an asset:\nAzure or AWS GovCloud\nHelm, CloudFormation/CDK, Ansible, or Puppet\nXacta, NIST RMF, FedRAMP, GxP, or other regulated environments\nPosit, Databricks, or enterprise data platforms\nCloud migrations and infrastructure modernization\nMLOps, generative AI, GPU, or AI infrastructure\nCompensation Range - CAD $100,000-$115,000 annually, plus benefits.\nWhy ProCogia\nAt ProCogia, you will work at the intersection of cloud, data, AI, and enterprise technology.
