The aim is to maintain and enhance the design, architecture, and technological capabilities of SIEM platforms in line with industry best practices.\n\nCybersecurity Engineer - SIEM - Responsibilities:\n• System integration of various data sources for logging of system & application security events to enterprise SIEM platforms.\n• Perform administration and maintenance tasks on Enterprise SIEM platforms, including system upgrades and health checks.\n• Collaborate with the data onboarding team for security use case development, dashboard, and report creation.\n• Plan strategic roadmap for analytics technologies in coordination with security engineering and Cyber Threat Management teams.\n• Contribute to the strategic roadmap for enterprise SIEM to meet business needs.\n• Research logging techniques for monitoring security events generated by emerging technologies.\n\nCybersecurity Engineer - SIEM - Mandatory Skills:\n• 2+ years of cybersecurity Analyst or Engineering experience\n• 2+ years of experience with Security Information and Event management (SIEM) tools\n• Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel foundational certifications\n• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)\n• Strong information gathering, reporting, and documentation skills\n• Strong collaboration skills, team player mindset\n\nCybersecurity Engineer - SIEM – Nice-to-Have Skills:\n• Experience with Google SecOps or Cribl\n• Banking or financial institution experience\n• Experience creating dashboards and reports within Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk\n\nCybersecurity Engineer - SIEM – Assignment Length:\nThe assignment is set to last until September 30, 2027, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.\n\nCybersecurity Engineer - SIEM - Start Date:\nASAP\n\nCybersecurity Engineer - SIEM - Assignment Location:\nToronto, Ontario, Canada.
