This position is a remote position based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.\n\nRelease Engineer - Job Description:\nThe Release Engineer will lead and coordinate multiple project teams across a large program, ensuring alignment of priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments across the Agile Release Train (ART). The role involves driving execution and governance for large-scale technology initiatives involving multiple workstreams, vendors, stakeholder groups, and geographically dispersed teams.\n\nRelease Engineer - Responsibilities:\n• Lead and coordinate multiple project teams across a large program\n• Drive execution and governance for large-scale technology initiatives\n• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget\n• Assist in defining project scope and objectives\n• Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor progress\n• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs\n• Measure performance using project management tools\n• Report and escalate to management as needed\n• Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders\n• Document and manage risks, issues, decisions, and action items\n• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors\n• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation\n• Facilitate approvals of key documentation\n• Delegate project tasks based on team strengths\n• Track project performance and analyze goals\n• Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints\n• Use and develop leadership skills\n• Support planning and delivery of AI initiatives\n• Ensure governance and risk management for AI technology initiatives\n\nRelease Engineer - Mandatory Skills:\n• 5+ years of experience in supporting multiple software projects\n• 5+ years of Program Management or RTE experience\n• In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles, including Agile\n• Familiarity with SharePoint, S4 HANA, MS Project, ServiceNow, Azure Dev Ops\n• Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n• Strong management, communication, and collaboration skills\n• Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams\n\nRelease Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:\n• SAFe 5 RTE Certification\n• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)\n• Experience working with Agile development processes\n• Experience in a professional services organization\n• Familiarity with packaged SDLC\n\nRelease Engineer – Assignment Length:\nThis is a 6 month contract position.\n\nRelease Engineer - Start Date:\nASAP.\n\nRelease Engineer - Assignment Location:\nToronto, Ontario, Canada.
