This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.\n\nSenior Data Architect/Modeller - Job Description:\nThe Senior Data Architect/Modeller will design and evolve enterprise data architecture and data models to enable scalable analytics, AI, and data products. The role involves establishing the future-state data architecture, identifying critical data assets, and defining standards and integration patterns to ensure data is governed, reusable, accessible, and AI-ready.\n\nSenior Data Architect/Modeller - Responsibilities:\n• Design and maintain enterprise data architecture and data models supporting AI, analytics, and operational use cases.\n• Define scalable architecture patterns for data integration, storage, transformation, sharing, and consumption.\n• Design reusable data products and common data models for multiple business and AI use cases.\n• Contribute to future-state data architecture, including transitions from existing platforms.\n• Identify and define critical data assets and domains for enterprise priorities.\n• Establish and promote data architecture, modelling, interoperability, and integration standards.\n• Partner with Data Governance teams to embed data ownership, quality, metadata, lineage, classification, and lifecycle requirements.\n• Assess data requirements and architecture implications for AI, machine learning, analytics, and reporting initiatives.\n• Collaborate with various teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.\n• Identify architecture gaps, duplication, data silos, and opportunities for data reuse and interoperability.\n\nSenior Data Architect/Modeller - Mandatory Skills:\n• Significant experience designing enterprise data architectures and data models for AI/ML, analytics, and cloud workloads.\n• Deep technical expertise in modern cloud data platforms, data engineering, integration, and APIs.\n• Strong knowledge of the Azure data and AI ecosystem, Azure Machine Learning, and Microsoft Foundry/Azure AI Foundry.\n• Understanding of data governance, data ownership, lineage, data quality, security, and privacy.\n• Ability to design governed, traceable, and fit-for-purpose data architectures.\n• Strong stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.\n• Experience with data lakehouse, data products, domain-oriented architecture, and cloud-based data platforms.\n\nSenior Data Architect/Modeller – Nice-to-Have Skills:\n• Public Sector experience.\n• Familiarity with Generative AI and model lifecycle management.\n• Experience with AI/ML pipelines and feature engineering.\n• Knowledge of scalable AI/ML solutions.\n• Experience in promoting data interoperability and reuse.\n\nSenior Data Architect/Modeller – Assignment Length:\nThis is a 7 month contract position.\n\nSenior Data Architect/Modeller -
