The focus is on utilizing Azure technologies to develop complex data solutions and Power BI reporting systems.\n\nSoftware Developer - ETL - Senior - Responsibilities:\n• Analyze data and design semantic models\n• Transform raw data into silver/gold data for reporting consumption\n• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance\n• Review business requirements to inform the design and development of reports\n• Design technical system specifications and develop detailed programming specifications\n• Resolve and troubleshoot technical issues during software use and operation\n• Provide specialized skills for developing data access queries\n• Collaborate with data analysts to develop dashboards and other reporting products\n• Support business information requirements through OLAP analytical software solutions\n• Develop and support customized query applications for business analysis\n\nSoftware Developer - ETL - Senior - Mandatory Skills:\n• 6+ years experience with Azure technologies including Azure Databricks, Azure DataLake Gen 2\n• Proficiency in Power BI development and semantic modeling\n• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD\n• Proficiency using Data Factory within Fabric to build complex, scalable data pipelines\n• Expertise in designing efficient Direct Lake semantic models in Power BI using Silver/Gold layer models\n\nSoftware Developer - ETL - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:\n• Experience with government projects\n• Exposure to cutting-edge Azure technologies and data solutions\n• Strong teamwork and communication skills\n• Problem-solving capabilities\n• Understanding of accessible design principles\n\nSoftware Developer - ETL - Senior – Assignment Length:\nThis is a 4 month contract position.\n\nSoftware Developer - ETL - Senior - Start Date:\nASAP.\n\nSoftware Developer - ETL - Senior - Assignment Location:\nToronto, Ontario, Canada.
