This role is designed for individuals beginning their IT careers who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced professional environment.\nWorking closely with experienced IT staff, the IT Intern will support day-to-day technical operations while developing foundational skills in troubleshooting, system maintenance, and customer service. This role provides exposure to desktop support, hardware deployment, IT security practices, and technology projects across the organization.\nResponsibilities\nAssist in responding to help desk tickets and basic technical support requests.\nTroubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues under supervision.\nProvide support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.\nSet up and configure new user workstations and equipment.\nDeliver friendly, professional customer service to employees across departments.\nAssist with installation and configuration of computers and peripheral devices.\nSupport software installations, updates, and routine system checks.\nMaintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.\nParticipate in hardware refreshes, system upgrades, and technology rollouts.\nAssist with documentation of IT processes and troubleshooting steps.\nFollow company IT security policies and assist with patching and antivirus monitoring.\nEscalate complex or unfamiliar issues appropriately.\nDemonstrate a strong willingness to learn new technologies and apply feedback.\nMaintain professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity in all tasks\n Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent technical training)\nBasic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and Microsoft Office applications\nStrong interest in developing technical and troubleshooting skills.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\nAbility to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.\nPositive attitude and strong willingness to learn.\nFamiliarity with Windows operating systems (preferred)\nExposure to basic troubleshooting or networking concepts (preferred)\nProgress toward or interest in IT certifications (preferred)\nPrevious customer service experience (preferred)\nHigh
