This role partners with stakeholders throughout the company to understand operational challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver scalable technology solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, and decision-making.\nThe Business Systems Analyst will work extensively with ERP systems, business process automation, analytics platforms, reporting tools, and emerging AI technologies to support organizational goals. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, technical aptitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nThis position supports process analysis, systems optimization, reporting, automation, and technology adoption efforts across the organization while serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology resources.\nKey Responsibilities\nBusiness Process Improvement\nAnalyze existing business processes, workflows, and operational procedures.\nIdentify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for automation.\nFacilitate process improvement initiatives across departments.\nDocument current-state and future-state workflows.\nRecommend solutions that improve efficiency, data quality, user experience, and business visibility.\nIdentify and implement opportunities for operational improvement through continuous improvement initiatives.\nBusiness Systems Administration & Optimization\nPartner with business teams to enhance and optimize enterprise applications.\nSupport ERP configuration, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nGather and document business requirements for system enhancements.\nAssist with user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and change management activities.\nEnsure business systems align with organizational objectives and industry best practices.\nSupport user adoption and utilization of business systems through training, communication, and support.\nData & Analytics\nDevelop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using approved analytics tools.\nTranslate business questions into meaningful metrics and reporting solutions.\nAnalyze datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and performance insights.\nPromote data governance and reporting standards.\nSupport self-service analytics adoption across the organization.\nDeliver reporting and business intelligence solutions that improve organizational visibility and decision-making.\nAutomation & Digital Transformation\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual processes using modern technology platforms.\nSupport workflow automation initiatives and business application integrations.\nEvaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, and recommend practical business applications.\nParticipate in digital transformation projects from concept through implementation.\nSupport the reduction of manual effort and improvement of operational scalability through technology-enabled solutions.\nStakeholder Engagement\nServe as a liaison and partner to business leaders and subject matter experts.\nFacilitate discovery sessions and requirements-gathering workshops.\nCommunicate project status, recommendations, risks, and business impacts to stakeholders.\nProvide user training, documentation, and adoption support for new solutions.\nDevelop and maintain cross-functional relationships that support project delivery and organizational change.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in business analysis, business systems, process improvement, analytics, or related roles.\n3+ years of experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.\n3+ years of experience applying analytical and problem-solving skills in a business environment.\n2+ years of experience utilizing written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting.\n2+ years of experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with ERP platforms (IFS, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).\nExperience with Power BI or comparable analytics tools.\nExperience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, SSMS, SSIS, and SSRS.\nKnowledge of SQL and relational databases.\nExperience with workflow automation platforms.\nExposure to AI-powered business solutions and digital transformation initiatives.\nExperience supporting change management, user adoption, and business process transformation efforts.\nWe are proud to be an employee-owned organization.
