You will be responsible for software testing design and execution for a variety of key customer-facing and internal applications. Your job will require you to coach and mentor a team of QA engineers while also participating in test design and execution. You should have very good leadership skills and you should be creative and proactive to work successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms and a distributed architecture diverse technologies and lab environments. You will work closely with software engineers product managers engineering managers DevOps engineers and other stakeholders.\nThis role reports to the Director QA Engineering and is based in Cairo Egypt. Were looking for someone to join our team immediately. \nWhat youll do: \nLead & Mentor Manage mentor and grow a team of QA Engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement technical excellence and career development.\nDefine Testing Strategies Design implement and improve testing strategies to enhance product quality including manual automated performance and security testing.\nEnsure High-Quality Deliverables Oversee test planning execution and reporting to produce reliable assessments of software readiness.\nOptimize Test Automation Drive the adoption of automated testing solutions (preferably using Cypress) to increase test coverage and efficiency.\nCollaborate Across Teams Work closely with engineering product management and DevOps teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle.\nDrive Process Improvements Establish and enhance QA processes methodologies and best practices to ensure scalability and efficiency.\nManage Testing Environments Oversee test environments CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless deployment of high-quality software.\nAdvocate for Quality Promote a quality-first mindset across engineering teams ensuring testing is integrated at every stage of development.\nSupport Release Management Assist with release readiness regression testing and deployment validation to ensure smooth product launches.\nWhat were looking for: \n1-5 years of experience in a similar role.\n\nExperience in mentoring coaching and leading QA engineers.\n\nThorough understanding of software testing methodologies QA tools and Agile principles.\n\nProven ability to manage and prioritize multiple diverse projects simultaneously.\n\nMust be flexible independent and self-motivated.\n\nStrong database manipulation skills mainly in MySQL\n\nExcellent verbal and written English communication skills\n\nExperience in test automation (Preferably in Cyress)\n\nGood understanding of Linux administration and DevOps principles\n\nGood understanding of the full web stack \n\nSelf-motivated with the ability to prioritize meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.\n\nExperience in API testing using Postman\n\nExperience working with geographically dispersed teams is a plus\n\nAdditional Information: \nPerks & Benefits\nAt Procore we invest in our employees and provide a full range of benefits and perks to help you grow and thrive.
