In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, complete preventive maintenance, perform mechanical and electrical repairs, and execute precision calibrations that keep the Automation with initial focus on AGV fleet operating at base condition.\nKey Responsibilities:\nReplace AGV load wheels and verify proper installation and operation.\nPerform Actuator 1-5 calibrations in accordance with established procedures.\nComplete AGV navigation calibrations and validate vehicle performance.\nAlign, test, and verify sensors used for navigation and safe equipment operation.\nLubricate AGVs at required service intervals.\nDiagnose and repair breakdowns, including drop-down camera assembly and encoder replacement.\nRestore and maintain PCMA base condition through detailed inspection and cleaning.\nExecute all assigned AGV preventive maintenance tasks accurately and on schedule.\nDocument completed work, identified defects, parts usage, and follow-up actions.\nFollow site safety procedures, electrical safe-work practices, and equipment standards.\nSupport ALPS and act as a backup for both automation maintenance planners.\nJob Qualifications\nThree to five years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience with reach trucks or sit-down forklifts.\nDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and complete repairs safely and efficiently.\nExperience using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance documentation.\nAbility to read and follow technical procedures, checklists, and equipment standards.\nLVQ electrical certification, or the ability to obtain and maintain the certification as required by the site.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior experience maintaining automated guided vehicles, mobile robotics, conveyors, or other automated material-handling equipment.\nExperience with navigation systems, sensors, encoders, cameras, actuators, and low-voltage electrical components.\nWorking knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, defect elimination, and equipment base-condition standards.\nStrong troubleshooting, communication, organization, and ownership skills.\nWork Schedule:\nWork schedule depends on the role and could include some combination of day shift and night shift schedules to support the business.
