We are looking for motivated and high-calibre experienced electricians to join us at our London (West Thurrock) Site. We’re a build from within company, meaning we’re looking for those interested in building a career, not just a job with us.\nAs an E&I Technician, you will be responsible for:\nThe maintenance of electrical equipment and troubleshooting circuit problems including to install, rebuild, commission or repair electrical equipment as needed. Whilst on shift you will be required to assist with all service calls.\nWorking closely within the operating area you’re assigned to, providing insights into the work team to ensure that business goals are achieved. Proactively assisting operations technicians in troubleshooting and emergency repairs as well as to support and learn Mechanical Maintenance skills and tasks as necessary.\nSafety is a priority at P&G. You will be responsible for your personal safety as well as assisting where you can with the safety of other team members and contractors. This includes, ensuring all safety rules and safe work procedures are followed, reporting near misses, and maintaining housekeeping.\nProductivity and Reliability: you will need to safely troubleshoot issues by reading logic in PLCs and other control equipment, use diagnostic equipment and troubleshoot issues related to production machine coordinated drives. You will also need to maintain the SAP Plan Maintenance System, including following all computer based and paper processes for work order completion and documentation.\nThis role is shift based, meaning you will be required to work a 12-hour shift pattern, with a mixture of both days and nights.\nWhat we offer you:\n Competitive Salary: The starting salary for this role is £63,501 per annum (incl. £175 weekly shift premium), with opportunity to grow to £65,184 (incl. £175 weekly shift premium) in the same role. Every P&G employee’s salary is reviewed annually and therefore there is ample opportunity for future salary increases.\nGenerous Pension: The Company will contribute double the amount you contribute towards your pension savings, up to a maximum company contribution of 14% of your pensionable pay.\n Annual Leave: You will start with 25 days' annual leave entitlement (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service up to 30 days.\n1-4-1 Shares: For every share that you purchase, the Company will purchase a share on your behalf. Find out more about the site here.\nJob Qualifications\nWe are looking for individuals who:\nAre qualified to a minimum of ONC/C&G Part III or HNC/NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical Engineering time-served apprenticeship. \nHave proven electrical experience in either process or a production environment in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods or similar industry.\nHave electrical experience in the following manufacturing processes including, but not limited to PLC (Allen Bradley preferably) control systems, SCADA systems, instrumentation and 415v motor control circuits.\nHave high level of accountability coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others.\nAre willing to suggest and implement changes that will improve systems, work processes and equipment reliability.\nFluent ability to communicate in English.\nRight to Work\nFor this role, P&G are willing to provide sponsorship to those who require a visa to live and work in the UK, subject to meeting all the necessary Home Office requirements.
