The role will ensure that projects are completed safely, meet required quality standards, comply with applicable regulations, and satisfy operational and business requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Engineering and Execution\nManage small projects from feasibility and scope development through design, construction, commissioning, and start-up.\nProvide technical expertise for the construction and mechanical scope of projects, including:Design and technical documentation\nProcurement support\nInstallation supervision\nFinal inspection\nCommissioning and validation of new equipment and installations\n\nDevelop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and execution plans.\nSupport the overall project team in the delivery of larger capital projects.\nMonitor project progress, identify risks, and adapt plans to address changing priorities or site conditions.\nCoordinate contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to support timely material delivery and adherence to project schedules.\nDesign and Procurement\nUnderstanding mechanical drawings (AutoCAD or similar) including:General Arrangements (GAs)\nIsometric drawings\nPiping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)\n3D models\n\nLead and participate in design reviews to confirm safety, constructability, operability, maintainability, and compliance with project requirements.\nPrepare scopes of work, enquiry packages and Request for Quotation for Purchasing to issue for competitive bidding.\nReview technical proposals and complete Best Value Option Analyses when evaluating multiple supplier bids.\nProvide technical recommendations to support supplier and contractor selection.\nConstruction Management\nManage the mechanical construction scope for assigned projects.\nPrepare and issue required work permits in accordance with site procedures.\nSupervise construction and installation activities to ensure safe execution and required quality.\nConduct safety briefings for construction teams.\nVerify that contractors comply with approved drawings, specifications, work methods, safety requirements, and quality standards.\nCoordinate site activities to minimize operational disruption and resolve field issues promptly.\nSafety, Quality, and Compliance\nEnsure all project activities comply with applicable site requirements, regulations, and standards, including relevant IEC and OSHA requirements.\nProactively identify, assess, and mitigate safety and execution risks.\nPartner with Operations, Safety, and Quality stakeholders to ensure project solutions comply with business, operational, and regulatory requirements.\nMaintain accurate project, construction, inspection, and commissioning documentation.\nPromote a strong culture of safe execution and quality workmanship throughout every project phase.\nCommissioning and Start-Up\nDevelop inspection and commissioning checklists for newly installed equipment.\nCoordinate and complete quality, functional, and operational checks.\nConfirm that equipment and installations operate in accordance with approved design requirements.\nSupport equipment start-up and transition to Operations.\nMaintain a post-start-up issue list and ensure open items are assigned, tracked, and resolved with urgency.\nAt P&G #weseeequal\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
