The site is friendly, diverse and has a rich history in innovation in multiple business areas.\nOur site is located close to the town centre and is served by motorway networks of M4 and M25 as well as the A33. We’re within 20 mins of Reading Central and Green Park railway stations and are served by buses that run every 10 minutes.\nWhat To Expect:\nResearch and Development (R&D) at P&G will help you to discover the essence behind crafting some of the world's most renowned brands. You will be working on live business R&D projects and expected to dive straight in and take the lead.\nEach intern receives a customized learning plan to ensure they get the right levels of coaching, mentoring, and training as they deliver their work. When we make a job offer, it’s with the expectation that you will grow into one of our future leaders, and to help you get there, you will work closely with skilled P&G veterans for mentoring and coaching at every step.\nJob Qualifications\nWhat We Look For:\nUniversity students pursuing a degree in a scientific or engineering discipline graduating in 2029 with a placement year as part of their degree who will participate in our 12-month industrial placement.\nWe also welcome applications from students graduating in 2027 or 2028, or those who have already graduated who we may be able to accommodate shorter placements depending on availability.\nEvidence of passion and achievements in academic and/or non-academic activities. We want to get to know you during your application!\nDemonstrated leadership skills and a strong passion for research and innovation.\nStrong verbal and written English language skills.\nStart date:\nThe 12-month industrial placement is available from 5th July 2027 until 30th June 2028. We expect you to be available for the full duration. We can also consider offering 6-month placements in line with course requirements and availability.\nRight to work\nFor our placement roles, you will need to provide your own right to work in the UK for the full duration of your placement without requiring sponsorship from P&G. Note, this will require your right to work permission to be valid between 5th July 2027 until 30th June 2028 for a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.\nP&G is legally required to ensure all candidates have the right to work in the UK from Day 1 of their employment.
