All driving is expected to be completed safely in accordance withall Company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Responsible for charging, requires attention to safety and cautious driving in the facility drop lot. The Yard Driver communicates and interacts with internal and external customers professionally,ensuring all services and duties are executed in accordance withpreferred work methods and customer service practices. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs safely any duty assigned to best serve the company.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: \nPerform all required safety checks (i.e., pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; inspect tractor/truck and trailer to insure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate actionas needed. Report all safety issues and/or repairs required.\n\nFollow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies. Immediately report all safety hazards.\n\nReport all accidents, including any damage to facility, equipment, or trailers on the lot.\n\nReport any damages found on the equipment inspection check list caused by previousshift driver\n\nSafely move trailers to/from loading docks and to/from designated parking area.\n\nEnsure that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and always secured.\n\nPerform general housekeeping duties in tractor and clean as required.\n\nAt the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.\n\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\n\nRole model leadership, inclusion, and 5E’s (Envision, Engage, Energize, Execute, and Enable)\n\nFlow to TCC as needed.\n\nJob Qualifications\nDemonstrates the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks. \nDemonstrates professionalism, integrity, and is in touch with the department members. \nDemonstrates the ability to build cooperation throughout the organization. \nBasic computer skills and application experience (WMS). \nHigh school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent. \nValid CDL Class A license. \n2 years yard experience. \nMust be 21 years of age. \nClean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years. \nPass post offer drug test and criminal background check. \nPass on-site P&G road test. \nValid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card. \nACQUIRED SKILLS: \nInterpersonal skills \nProblem solving \nAnticipation of needs \nROLE REQUIREMENTS:\nCross train on TCCs functions and flow to the work as needed \nComplete safety BOSs and provide/receive feedback respectfully \nMust be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position. \nrotating 2-3-2, nights 6pm-6am 12 hours shift, overtime as necessary. \nSUCCESS MEASURES: \nAbility to accomplish 60 moves average per shift. \n0 missed CIL inspection completion. \nStarting Pay/ Salary Range $32.61 Per Hour\n\nQualifications\nCompensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
