This role is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting DSSI's Source-to-Pay suite of applications.\nThe ideal candidate will be a hands-on, full-stack developer who can work closely with business process teams, project coordinators, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable, and user-friendly technology solutions.\nYou will play an important role in expanding the functionality and usability of DSSI's core applications, including both front-end user experience improvements and back-end application functionality. This position also provides an opportunity to work with a diverse technology environment that includes .NET, SQL Server, IBM i/AS400, DB2, web services, XML/JSON, and e-procurement integrations.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain web-based applications supporting DSSI's Source-to-Pay business processes.\nAnalyze business and system requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.\nWork closely with business process teams, project coordinators, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.\nDevelop new functionality and enhancements to existing applications, including both user interface and back-end capabilities.\nProvide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications and production issues.\nDevelop and maintain applications and services deployed on web servers.\nDesign and implement software using established object-oriented programming and enterprise application development practices.\nDevelop and maintain integrations using RESTful Web Services, Web API, XML, JSON, and related technologies.\nWork with relational databases, including SQL Server, and integrate applications with existing IBM i/AS400 and DB2 systems.\nParticipate in application architecture, system integration, database design, and technical solution development.\nTake ownership of assigned projects and development initiatives, ensuring quality deliverables and on-time completion.\nCreate and maintain appropriate technical documentation, including application documentation, help text, testing requirements and results, programmer comments, and object descriptions.\nDevelop and execute unit and integration testing and support User Acceptance Testing as required.\nSupport user training and assist business users with the adoption of new and enhanced functionality.\nTroubleshoot complex technical issues and identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, maintainability, and usability.\nParticipate in code reviews and follow established IT development standards, procedures, and best practices.\nStay current with emerging technologies, development practices, and industry trends relevant to the organization's technology environment.\nCollaborate with other developers and IT team members and provide technical guidance and mentoring to less-experienced developers.\nSupport the organization's goals for business development, service delivery, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement through effective use of technology.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.\nComply with company policies, IT procedures, programming standards, environment consistent with the Company's Equal Employment Opportunity policies.\nRequirements\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Processing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\n6+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting web-based applications using C# and .NET.\n6+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, including database development and SQL programming.\n4+ years of experience with Telerik UI controls and object-oriented enterprise application development.\nStrong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET / .NET, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX and Web-based application development\n3+ years of experience developing RESTful web services and Web API integrations.\nExperience developing and integrating XML and JSON-based interfaces.\nKnowledge of relational database design, development, and integration.\nUnderstanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), software development methodologies, database methodologies, and system integration practices.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.\nAbility to understand business processes and translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a small, collaborative IT team.\nWillingness and ability to mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge.\nDemonstrated ability to learn new technologies and acquire new technical skills as business and technology requirements evolve.\nPreferred / Additional Experience\nThe following experience is preferred but not required:\nExperience working with IBM i / AS400 and IBM DB2.\nExperience with cXML and OCI PunchOut integrations.\nExperience with e-procurement, Source-to-Pay, ERP, or B2B integration platforms.\nExperience integrating applications with external customer, supplier, or third-party systems.\nExperience with enterprise application modernization or migration initiatives.\nExperience working in an environment supporting multiple business applications and
