Success depends on building strong cross-functional relationships and influencing teams across the organization to bring that vision to life.\nPDK seeks a leader with a strong background and a proven track record to enhance and expand PDK's software-as-a-service solution and the Product Management team.\nKey Responsibilities\n(30%)Roadmap and Strategy\nDevelop and communicate a clear product strategy for the software product portfolio that supports the company's objectives.\n\nCreate and maintain a product roadmap that reflects market trends and customer demands.\n\nSpend time with customers to understand their problems before proposing solutions, using customer interviews, field observations, and market research.\n\nGather or review market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the access control and security industry.\n\n(45%)Product Management\nSet OKRs and KPIs for products and use product analytics to measure adoption, engagement, retention, and overall product performance.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and design, to drive product development from concept to delivery.\n\nDefine and prioritize product features, specifications, and enhancements.\n\nCommunicate product vision, customer value, and business rationale through clear product documentation.\n\nMake product decisions that create value for customers and move the business forward, using KPI results to evaluate investments.\n\nDevelop go-to-market strategies, pricing, positioning, and success metrics for new products and major feature releases.\n\nTravel to customer sites and industry conferences as needed.\n\nLeverage AI tools to improve product discovery, market analysis, and product management efficiency.\n\n(15%)Product Marketing\nPlan and execute successful product launches, coordinating with marketing and sales teams to ensure maximum market impact.\n\nCoordinate all go-to-market efforts to ensure that all departments in the company are trained and ready for new products and features.\n\nIdentify key customer benefits, distinctive competency(ies), and competitive advantages.\n\n(10%) Process Development\nPublish and organize all product requirements in a central location.\n\nCollect and analyze customer feedback, satisfaction metrics, and feature adoption data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.\n\nFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the organization.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or Marketing).\n\nMinimum of 5 years of product management experience managing software as a service or solutions, preferably delivering commercial or consumer products in the security industry (access control, alarms, video surveillance). Mobile app\n\nProven track record of defining, managing, delivering, and discontinuing products with minimal guidance and a high attention to detail.\n\nExcellent leadership, team management, and communication skills - both written and verbal.\n\nSelf-motivated with exceptional organizational and project management skills.\n\nAnalytical mindset with experience using quantitative and qualitative customer insights, product analytics, and business metrics to make data-driven decisions.\n\nWorking knowledge of cloud security principles, identity and access management, role-based access control (RBAC), audit logging, authentication (SSO/OAuth), and common SaaS security and privacy frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR) is preferred.\n\nEnergized by and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.\n\nMakes and owns decisions.
