The ideal candidate for this position will possess knowledge and experience in architecting, engineering, and deploying application solutions with an emphasis on AWS.\nAbout you\nEnjoy working remotely.\nHappy working as a freelance contractor.\nAbility to work on your own with minimal supervision.\nAuthorized to work in the United States.\nStrong communicator - being 100% remote, excellent communication is critical for what we do.\nAbility to decompose complex processes into understandable components.\nProficiency in automating and optimizing processes.\nYou love to ship - you're focused on delivering value and you are biased towards action.\nRequirements\nExperience delivering Infrastructure as Code and automation/orchestration of OS and applications.\nAutomation experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Resource Manager, Ansible, Puppet, Chef or similar.\nMust be able to write Terraform modules and plans independently.\nWell versed in architecting solutions for single and multi-account AWS organizations.\nFamiliarity with container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, etc.)\nExperience with basic networking principles and technologies.\nExperience with configuration management. Specifically Ansible, but other tools such as Puppet and Chef are also applicable.\nStrong troubleshooting skills - you're comfortable diving into the logs to debug and resolve issues, especially across services.\nBonus Points\nExperience with hybrid cloud infrastructure.\nExperience with integrating infrastructure as a result of acquisitions and mergers.\nAzure and/or GCP experience\nAbout ProDev\nProDev partners with incredible freelance developers from across North America to build products that delight.
