You will start in our cutting department, learning our production processes, materials and quality standards, with a structured training pathway to progress into a CNC Laser Machine Operator role.\nYou don't need previous CNC laser experience. We are looking for someone hands-on and mechanically minded who takes pride in their work, shows initiative and wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing with Prodieco.\nKey Duties/Responsibilities:\nOperate cutting equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.\nMeasure, mark and cut materials accurately.\nPrepare materials for production in accordance with job specifications.\nRead and follow production instructions and technical drawings.\nCheck materials and finished products for quality and accuracy.\nEnsure materials are handled and stored correctly.\nMaintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.\nWork to production schedules and daily targets.\nCommunicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.\nFollow all company health and safety procedures.\nCareer Development - CNC Laser Machine Operator:\nThe successful candidate will be given the opportunity to develop their skills through structured on-the-job training. The aim is to develop the individual into a competent CNC Laser Machine Operator.\nTraining will include:\nUnderstanding CNC laser cutting technology.\nLearning machine set-up and operating procedures.\nLoading and positioning materials.\nUnderstanding engineering drawings and cutting layouts.\nLearning CNC programs and machine controls.\nUnderstanding cutting parameters and material settings.\nMonitoring machine performance and production quality.\nIdentifying cutting defects and resolving basic operating issues.\nCarrying out routine machine checks and basic maintenance.\nDeveloping the ability to operate CNC laser machinery independently\nSkills and Attributes:\nEssential:\nReliable, punctual and hardworking.\nGood practical and mechanical aptitude.\nStrong attention to detail.\nAbility to follow instructions and procedures.\nPositive attitude and willingness to learn.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nCommitment to quality and workplace safety.\nDesirable:\nPrevious manufacturing experience.\nExperience using cutting equipment or machinery.\nAbility to read technical or engineering drawings.\nBasic computer
