We provide many ways to develop and grow your potential, in a superb working environment.\nRole Overview:\nThe Financial Planning & Strategy Analyst will play a key role within the finance team, supporting business performance, strategic planning and value creation. This is a highly analytical and commercially focused role with significant exposure to senior leadership, turning complex financial and operational data into clear insights, recommendations and actions. The Analyst will support the development of the five-year business and value creation plan, financial planning and forecasting, acquisition modelling and integration, and a range of strategic and commercial projects. The role will suit an individual with a strong analytical and consulting mindset who is comfortable working at pace in a private equity portfolio company environment, where expectations are high and assumptions are regularly challenged.\nKey Duties/Responsibilities:\nFinancial Planning & Strategy\nSupport the development and ongoing refinement of the company's five-year business and value creation plan.\nDevelop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic planning, forecasting and decision-making.\nAnalyse large volumes of financial and operational data and distil this into clear, insightful management information.\nIdentify key trends, business drivers, opportunities and risks and translate these into actionable recommendations.\nSupport the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.\nDevelop scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess the financial impact of strategic decisions.\nPrepare analysis and presentations for the senior leadership team, clearly communicating key findings, implications and required actions.\nM&A and Integration\nSupport financial modelling and analysis for potential acquisitions, including business cases, returns, synergies and scenario analysis.\nAssist with the financial analysis supporting acquisition due diligence.\nSupport the development and tracking of post-acquisition integration plans.\nMonitor acquisition performance against the original investment case and identify key variances and actions.\nWork cross-functionally with Finance, Commercial, Operations and other teams to support successful acquisition integration.\nData & Business Insight\nWork with large and complex datasets from multiple sources.\nStructure, analyse and interpret data to identify the information that matters most to the business.\nTranslate detailed analysis into concise and insightful summaries for senior management.\nDevelop clear financial and operational analysis to explain business performance and key variances.\nChallenge assumptions and investigate underlying drivers rather than simply reporting outcomes.\nEnsure analysis is focused on supporting management decisions and actions.\nStakeholder & Project Management\nManage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously, often to tight deadlines.\nWork effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.\nBuild strong relationships with Finance, Commercial, Operations and other functional teams.\nTake ownership of analytical workstreams from problem definition through to recommendation and delivery.\nCommunicate complex financial and commercial issues clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.\nOperate effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.\nQualification, Experience & Skills Required:\n2-5 years’ relevant experience in strategy consulting, management consulting, transaction advisory, corporate finance, FP&A or a similar analytical environment\n2-3 years’ experience within a strategy or management consulting firm desired\nExcellent financial modelling skills with advanced Excel capability\nStrong analytical skills and experience working with large volumes of data, with the ability to identify what really matters\nAbility to turn complex analysis into clear, concise and actionable conclusions and recommendations\nExcellent PowerPoint skills and strong written and verbal communication skills\nConfident presenting to and constructively challenging senior stakeholders, and comfortable being challenged\nProven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities under tight deadlines\nStrong commercial and financial acumen\nExperience with acquisition or M&A financial modelling, business cases and investment analysis desired\nExperience supporting post-acquisition integration desired\nExperience developing long-range business plans or value creation plans desired\nExperience working in a private equity-backed or acquisitive business desired\nIntellectually curious and enjoys solving complex problems\nComfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and ownership, with a strong focus on performance, accountability and value creation\nBuilds effective relationships across all levels of the organisation\nBenefits:\nOn - Site Parking\nQuarterly Bonus\nSick Pay\nRefer a Friend up to €1,500\nFlexitime with the option for an early Friday finish\nHybrid, 1-2 days\nMonthly Engagement Events\nMaternity/Paternity Top Up\nWe manage our recruitment process in line with General Data Protection Regulations.
