We provide many ways to develop and grow your potential, in a superb working environment.\nRole Overview:\nThe Stores Coordinator is responsible for the effective management of materials, stock and consumables within the company’s Stores area. The role ensures accurate stock control, an efficient flow of parts to production, and compliance with internal processes and health & safety standards. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Stores Co-Ordinator works closely with the Procurement, Manufacturing, Assembly & Test and Quality teams to support operational excellence.\nThis role sits within the Stores career framework, which has two levels (Level 1 and Level 2). The duties below are set out by level so that expectations, development and progression are clear from the outset.\nKey Duties/Responsibilities:\nReceive batch parts from Manufacturing and verify quantities against delivery documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.\nControl the movement of parts (inbound and outbound) within Stores, and maintain accurate, up-to-date stock records on the ERP system.\nPick job orders in line with the production planning schedule, prioritising tasks according to production requirements and deadlines.\nMatch completed kits with their corresponding manufacturing parts and support Assembly & Test by preparing Stores kits and packing them in boxes.\nReplenish the carousel (Kanban system) and storage locations to maintain optimal stock levels and support efficient Stores operations.\nParticipate in cycle counts and stock-taking activities, and maintain accurate inventory records.\nEscalate discrepancies and inventory issues to the Procurement Manager in a timely manner.\nIssue a report of outstanding purchased parts and batch parts that may impact Stores operations.\nReview Op 35 and highlight projects that cannot be completed due to part shortages.\nComply with health & safety requirements and internal Stores processes at all times.\nDevelop and implement inventory management improvement strategies, including reorder planning, stock rotation and the management of slow-moving and obsolete parts.\nPrepare and present inventory reports and analyses (stock levels, consumables usage and material movement) to the Procurement Manager, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.\nConduct audits of completed kits and manufacturing parts to ensure quality and accuracy.\nLead and coordinate all stock-taking activities, taking accountability for accuracy, completeness and adherence to schedule.\nSupport the implementation of Stores KPIs, SLAs and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWork closely with Procurement to ensure all required parts are available to meet production demand.\nKey Personal Attributes:\nStrong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise against production deadlines.\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nExcellent communication and problem-solving skills, including raising issues promptly.\nKnowledge of warehouse, Kanban and inventory management best practices.\nDemonstrates the Prodieco Behaviours and a continuous improvement mindset - “There is always a better way”.\nIdeal Candidate:\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in Stores, Warehouse or Inventory Coordination.\nExperience within manufacturing or engineering industries is an advantage.\nCompetent user of ERP systems for stock records and reporting.\nDemonstrated experience in stock-taking, inventory analysis and reporting, and in improving inventory processes.\nKnowledge of Lean principles or continuous improvement practices desirable.\nBenefits:\nOn-Site Parking\nQuarterly Bonus\nCompany Events\nEarly Finish Fridays\nMaternity/Paternity Top Up\nWe manage our recruitment process in line with General Data Protection Regulations.
