The candidate will develop scalable Power BI dashboards and analytical solutions, perform complex data analysis using SQL, and translate insurance business requirements into actionable insights.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for insurance business users.\n\n- Develop efficient DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and data models to support analytical and reporting requirements.\n\n- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and analysis.\n\n- Analyze large datasets to identify business trends, data issues, and actionable insights.\n\n- Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into reporting and analytical solutions.\n\n- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.\n\n- Develop and maintain dimensional data models supporting reporting and analytics use cases.\n\n- Collaborate with data engineering, business, and analytics teams to integrate data from multiple source systems.\n\n- Apply insurance domain knowledge to interpret business data and develop meaningful KPIs and reporting solutions.\n\n- Support report performance optimization, production issues, enhancements, and ongoing reporting needs.\n\nRequired Skills :\n\nPower BI :\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.\n\n- Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, data modeling, relationships, drill-through, bookmarks, filters, and visualization best practices.\n\n- Experience building complex dashboards and executive or business reporting solutions.\n\n- Understanding of Power BI performance optimization and data model design.\n\nSQL and Data :\n\n- Strong SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, subqueries, window functions, aggregations, and complex transformations.\n\n- Experience analyzing and reconciling data across multiple tables and data sources.\n\n- Good understanding of relational databases, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts.\n\n- Ability to investigate data-quality issues and independently perform root-cause analysis.\n\nInsurance Analytics :\n\n- Good understanding of insurance data and business processes, preferably within Property & Casualty insurance.\n\n- Familiarity with policy, coverage, exposure, premium, claims, losses, reserves, limits, deductibles, brokers or agents, and underwriting.\n\n- Ability to understand insurance KPIs and translate business questions into analytical reports and dashboards.\n\n- Experience working with policy, claims, underwriting, or premium-related datasets is preferred.\n\nPreferred Qualifications :\n\n- 4 -
