This is a hands-on engineering role where you will have the opportunity to improve both existing production services and the way new functionality is designed and delivered.\nYou will be part of an agile delivery environment where backend, frontend, quality, and business experts work together to turn real business requirements into reliable software.\nWHAT WILL YOU DO?\nDesign, develop, and continuously improve backend services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot\nBuild and evolve microservices and REST APIs used by the Charisma solution\nTurn new business requirements into maintainable and scalable technical solutions\nWork on performance optimization and technical stabilization of production services\nDesign data models and work with PostgreSQL, SQL optimization, and database migrations\nApply engineering approaches such as Domain-Driven Design, Event-Driven Architecture, Clean Architecture, and established design patterns\nDesign and document APIs using OpenAPI / Swagger\nBuild and maintain integrations using REST and TARDIS\nDevelop automated unit, integration, API, performance, and load tests\nWork with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD as part of the development and delivery lifecycle\nImprove application observability and troubleshooting using Prometheus, Grafana, LUMINA, OpenTelemetry, and logging\nCollaborate with frontend engineers, quality engineers, and business experts to deliver end-to-end functionality\nContribute to further rollout activities and the continuous improvement of the overall solution\n YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:\nHave strong hands-on experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework.\nAre experienced in developing and maintaining microservices and REST APIs.\nBring solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, data modeling, and performance optimization.\nHave worked with Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, Spring Security, Spring Web, and Spring Validation.\nUnderstand modern software architecture and engineering principles, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture, Clean Architecture, and design patterns.\nHave experience using Maven or Gradle for build and dependency management.\nAre familiar with automated testing frameworks and tools such as JUnit 5, Mockito, Testcontainers, and API testing solutions.\nHave experience with performance and load testing of large-scale applications.\nBring practical experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.\nUnderstand the importance of observability, monitoring, and logging in building reliable applications.\nHave experience working with REST-based integrations and TARDIS.\nEnjoy solving technical challenges, collaborating with team members, and continuously improving the quality and performance of software solutions.\nSpeak English at a minimum B2 level.\nNice to Have\nExperience with AWS\nKnowledge of Kotlin\nExperience with Reactive Programming / WebFlux\nKnowledge of route optimization technologies\n WHY SHOULD YOU CHOOSE US?\nWe believe in balance between work and personal life.
