Frontend Software Developer - React (m/f/d)

Purpose

We are looking for a Frontend Developer/Engineer to join the team behind Charisma and help build fast, reliable, and intuitive user experiences for a solution supporting complex operational and rollout processes.

You will work on modern React applications and Bryntum-based user interfaces, with a strong focus on usability, performance, maintainability, and quality. Beyond delivering new functionality, you will have the opportunity to improve existing production applications, strengthen frontend architecture, and expand test automation.

You will work closely with backend engineers, quality engineers, and business experts in an agile delivery environment, turning real business requirements into effective user-facing solutions.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Build and continuously improve modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript
• Develop user interfaces using JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, and Material UI
• Build and enhance Bryntum-based interfaces and components
• Turn new business requirements into intuitive and maintainable frontend functionality
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services using REST APIs and WebSockets
• Work with React Hooks, React Router, Redux, and Redux Toolkit
• Apply component-based architecture, state management, clean code principles, and design patterns
• Improve application responsiveness, accessibility, and overall frontend performance
• Contribute to Micro Frontend architectures
• Build and maintain automated frontend and UI tests using React Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright
• Apply Test-Driven Development practices where appropriate
• Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker throughout the development lifecycle
• Participate in collaborative code reviews following the two-eyes principle
• Work in an agile environment using Scrum, Kanban, or LeSS
• Contribute to the stabilization of the production solution and support further rollout activities

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

have:

• Strong hands-on experience with React
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience building user interfaces with Material UI
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs
• Experience with WebSocket management
• Practical experience with React Hooks, React Router, Redux, and Redux Toolkit
• Experience working with Bryntum Components
• Good understanding of responsive design and accessibility, including WCAG
• Understanding of component-based architecture, state management, clean code, and design patterns
• Experience with frontend performance optimization
• Understanding of Micro Frontend architectures
• Experience with frontend testing and test automation using technologies such as React Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright
• Understanding of Test-Driven Development
• Practical experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker
• Experience working in agile development environments and with Jira
• And you speak English at a minimum B2 level.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2000€ /brutto.
