Would you like to join us in developing novel, incision-free alternatives to traditional surgical treatments?\nGeneral Accountability\nWe are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to work across our integrated software platform - from the real-time embedded components close to the hardware, through to the Windows therapy console the clinical team relies on. You will collaborate closely with both software and hardware developers, as well as with our clinical team, to upgrade the architecture and expand our offering to new clinical applications.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nDesign, program, integrate, and verify embedded software using C/C++, including work with RTOS (Yocto Linux) and communication interfaces to other system components.\nDevelop therapy console and desktop application software in C#/C++, including graphical user interfaces built on .NET and/or Qt frameworks.\nDesign and implement comprehensive unit tests and use test-automation tools to ensure high code quality and reliability.\nEducation & Certifications\nDegree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.\nKey Attributes\nSeveral years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of owning technical solutions end to end.\nExperience with hands-on embedded software development in complex systems.\nFamiliarity of windows platform, with knowledge of multi-threaded applications and graphical user interface development.\nExperience using scripting languages, e.g. Python, to boost development and testing.\nConsidered an asset\nExperience with developing software for medical devices.\nExperience with Yocto Linux and Altera / Intel Nios® soft processors.\nAbility to read and review schematics.\nWe thank you for your interest in Profound Medical.
