Where our GTM and Technical recruiters go deep on a single domain, you go wide, owning full-cycle hiring across whatever the business needs most at any given moment, from technical to GTM to G&A, plus the high-priority, first-of-their-kind searches that don't fit neatly into any one box. This is a true generalist role for someone who thrives on variety and wants to plug into the most important open need, whatever it happens to be that week.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn full-cycle recruiting across any function we prioritize, including engineering, sales, marketing, operations, finance, and the net-new roles that emerge as we grow\n\nFlex between requisitions and reprioritize quickly as company needs shift, partnering with our GTM and Technical recruiters to absorb overflow and take point on net-new or unconventional searches\n\nStand up sourcing strategies for unfamiliar or first-of-their-kind roles, building the playbook where none exists yet\n\nPartner with founders and hiring managers to define scorecards, interview loops, and tight SLAs for every search you pick up\n\nCraft crisp outreach and a high-touch candidate experience that reflects our mission and pace, from first message to signed offer\n\nKeep the funnel instrumented through ATS hygiene, conversion data, and fast iteration on what's working\n\nWho you are\nA versatile, full-cycle recruiter who has hired across multiple functions and is energized by variety rather than a single specialty\n\nComfortable with ambiguity: you can pick up an unfamiliar role, get smart fast, and build a sourcing plan from scratch\n\nHigh-agency and adaptable, able to reprioritize on a dime as the business changes underneath you\n\nA creative sourcer with a real network and the persistence to build one where it doesn't exist\n\nData- and process-minded, tracking time to fill and source yield and knowing how to unblock bottlenecks\n\nA track record at fast-growing startups, ideally familiar with the NYC ecosystem\n\nLocation\nThis is an on-site role based in our NYC or SF office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.\nFor this role, the expected base salary range is $160,000 to $215,000 (NYC and SF). Profound's total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks.
