This role is responsible for all Engineering related aspects related to the company's operations supporting both strategic and tactile initiatives.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nResponsible for leading the capital budget and delivery of capital projects for the company while maintaining accountability for department.\nOversight of all engineering related activities as required by Operations for all plant locations.\nActs as liaison to Operational leadership while ensuring all plant equipment or assets are performing as expected.\nLeads and directs team members, acts as point of contact between inter-company parties, identifies roadblocks, and executes on company strategy in an engineering or capital projects capacity.\nWorks with outside vendors in conjunction with other inter-company parties to analyze scopes of work, maintain compliance with internal controls, and acts in the interest of the company to secure best pricing as needed.\nBuilds scalable project documentation, modeling, or reporting to allow growth of the company while maintaining transparency and reporting expectations.\nReports or presents capital expenditure budget metrics to executive team, senior leadership, or other departments as required.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nEducation and Experience:\nDegree in Engineering related field, or equivalent experience required. Masters degree preferred.\n10 years experience in capital projects, engineering, manufacturing, industrial project management, or similar roles. Mining industry experience preferred.\nAdvanced knowledge of onsite assets, automation controls, and process or reliability planning.\nSignificant experience in project management, project engineering, construction engineering, or similar roles.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nOperates in a professional and/or business casual office environment.\nRoutinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, photocopiers/scanners, and smartphones.\nEvening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.\nAbility to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.\nAbility to lift up to 15 pounds \nMust be able to adhere to process protocol\nStrong work ethics of integrity and honesty striving for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communication.\n\nThis job description should not be interpreted as an exhaustive list of responsibilities or as an employment agreement between the employer and employee.
