About The Opportunity
Programmed’s Facility Management team is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Woodside contract in Karratha.
This is a great opportunity to join an established maintenance team supporting the ongoing operation of major industrial facilities. Working Monday-Friday, you will be responsible for delivering preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the contract, helping ensure facilities remain safe, compliant and operating effectively.
Importantly, this position is for Karratha-based candidates only. We are specifically seeking people who live locally in Karratha and are able to work from the site on a Monday-Friday basis.

What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Completing preventative electrical maintenance across contract facilities
- Responding to and completing general reactive electrical maintenance
- Undertaking switchboard servicing and maintenance
- Conducting thermographic imaging and identifying potential electrical issues
- Ensuring all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Supporting the wider maintenance team as required
- Working in accordance with site safety, environmental and quality requirements
About You
To join our team, you will be a qualified Electrician with experience working across major commercial, industrial or facilities environments. Previous site experience is strongly desired, along with a genuine commitment to delivering quality work and maintaining high safety standards.
You will also have:
- Cert III in Electrotechnology
- Current A Grade Electrical Licence
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Current White Card
- Previous site, commercial, industrial or facilities maintenance experience
- A professional approach to the workplace
- The ability to execute work to a high standard
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A strong commitment to quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems
- Full Australian working rights
Requirements
Successful applicants will be required to complete:
- Pre-employment medical
- Drug and alcohol screening
- National Police Clearance
- Relevant site inductions and client requirements
