Perth or Melbourne based, this is a key role in supporting technology-enabled change across the business.\nA great opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive technology team, working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and delivery partners to understand challenges, define requirements and deliver effective technology solutions.\nAbout the Role\nAs an IT Business Analyst, you will work across the technology delivery lifecycle - from discovery and requirements gathering through to solution assessment, testing, implementation and operational handover.\nYou will build strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitate workshops, analyse and improve business processes, and translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements for technical teams and delivery partners.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nEngage with business stakeholders and technology teams to understand business objectives, challenges, processes and technology needs.\nFacilitate discovery workshops, interviews and requirements-gathering sessions.\nAnalyse, prioritise and document functional and non-functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.\nDevelop current-state and future-state process maps and identify gaps, risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities.\nTranslate business requirements into clear deliverables for technical teams, vendors and delivery partners.\nAssess proposed solutions against agreed business requirements and identify gaps, impacts and dependencies.\nSupport test planning, test case development, UAT, defect triage and resolution.\nSupport implementation activities including business readiness, communications, training requirements and operational handover.\nIdentify and communicate risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies that may impact delivery.\nContribute to continuous improvement of business analysis practices, templates and ways of working.\nAbout You\nYou will be a practical and collaborative Business Analyst who can confidently work between business and technology teams.
