The ideal candidate should have deep PostgreSQL experience, exposure to SQL development, performance tuning, automation, cloud databases, and production support.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Administer, monitor, and support PostgreSQL databases across development, testing, and production environments.\n\n- Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.\n\n- Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize queries, indexing, and execution plans.\n\n- Manage PostgreSQL databases in Linux environments using command-line tools.\n\n- Implement and support replication, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.\n\n- Support database migrations, modernization initiatives, and cloud adoption projects.\n\n- Develop and maintain SQL, Bash, or Python scripts for automation and database administration.\n\n- Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams on deployments, releases, and performance improvements.\n\n- Monitor database health, capacity, security, and operational compliance.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n\n- 5+ years of experience in Database Administration and SQL Development.\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL Administration in Linux environments.\n\n- Good understanding of SQL Server Administration and database migration projects.\n\n- Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.\n\n- Experience with PostgreSQL replication, HA/DR solutions, and production support.\n\n- Proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.\n\n- Experience with AWS RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, or other cloud-managed database platforms.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Bash, Python, or
