monitor, and support PostgreSQL databases across development, testing, and production environments.\nPerform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.\nTroubleshoot performance issues, optimize queries, indexing, and execution plans.\nManage PostgreSQL databases in Linux environments using command-line tools.\nImplement and support replication, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.\nSupport database migrations, modernization initiatives, and cloud adoption projects.\nDevelop and maintain SQL, Bash, or Python scripts for automation and database administration.\nCollaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams on deployments, releases, and performance improvements.\nMonitor database health, capacity, security, and operational compliance.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n8+ years of experience in Database Administration and SQL Development.\nStrong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL Administration in Linux environments.\nGood understanding of SQL Server Administration and database migration projects.\nExpertise in performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.\nExperience with PostgreSQL replication, HA/DR solutions, and production support.\nProficiency in SQL, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.\nExperience with AWS RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, or other cloud-managed database platforms.\nHands-on experience with Bash, Python, or automation scripting.\n\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with SQL Server to PostgreSQL migrations.\nExposure to CI/CD, database deployment tools, and version control systems.\nFamiliarity with Flyway, Liquibase, Alembic, or similar migration tools.\nExperience in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.\n\nIdeal Candidate Profile:\nStrong PostgreSQL + Linux foundation with extensive command-line experience.\nBlend of DBA operations and database development expertise.\nExperience supporting mission-critical production environments.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaborate across
