Join us as a Product Counsel and help us do what we do best: propelling business forward. \nWe are looking for a qualified and experienced Product Counsel to join our legal team and provide advice and support to our management and internal clients on various product related areas including product design, development and release, marketing, data protection, security and compliance. You will be working closely with our product management, engineering, design, product marketing, support, operations, compliance and business line executives. This role requires a business-minded in-house lawyer who will partner with multiple innovative product teams around the world to ensure that the company's products and services are structured to achieve the business strategy while complying with applicable regulations in multiple jurisdictions.\nIn this role you will:\nPartner closely with product management, engineering, design, product marketing, support, operations and compliance teams and provide counsel and advise on a wide variety of complex and developing legal, regulatory and compliance issues in connection with the delivery of cloud services.\nAdvise on requirements affecting all stages of a product's life cycle, including design, development, marketing, public relations, product launch and distribution, and related product regulatory concerns. \nSupport sales cycle, including developing and managing options for company agreements (including with customers, partners and vendors), answering questions, providing documentation, facilitating sales execution and negotiating agreements alongside commercial counsel. \nServe as a liaison and issuer spotter for other legal team members in a matrixed organization with product teams, including in the areas of intellectual property, privacy, security and trade compliance. \nEnsure compliance with U.S. and international laws and regulations and company policy dealing with intellectual property, privacy, security, trade compliance and other applicable laws. \nAnalyze, structure, draft, and negotiate technology development, licensing, and other commercial agreements and provide ongoing legal counseling in the areas of intellectual property, technology, and licensing. \nReview, draft and advise on advertising and marketing materials, including press releases, packaging, product launch collateral, sweepstakes, promotions, and other related items.\nConduct training for the legal team as well as internal teams. \nYour background:\nLaw degree is required \nMinimum of 5 years of relevant in-house experience as a product counsel, preferably in the technology industry, with a focus on software, SaaS and cloud offerings. \nSignificant experience with intellectual property, licensing, privacy and trade compliance in the technology sector. \nAbility to communicate effectively with product managers and engineers and apply legal principles based on understanding of technology architectures and principles.\nAble to multi-task, work independently in a fast-paced environment and to interface with internal departments and all levels of management.\nMaintain current understanding of best practices related to legal issues in product development and marketing for technology companies.\nExperience with HIPAA compliance is highly desired; \nStrong drafting and negotiation skills.\nSkills:\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nStrong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.\nExcellent drafting, negotiation, and communication Prior product counseling experience with a technology company;\nStartup mindset - highly passionate, team player, high sense of urgency, willingness to roll up sleeves and ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced business;\nExcellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, well-honed analytical skills and strong project management skills;\nStrong technical skills with a continuous learning mindset to develop a deeper understanding of the business. \nIf this sounds like you and fits your experience and career goals, we’d be happy to chat.\nWhat we offer in return is the opportunity to experience a great company culture with wonderful colleagues to learn from and collaborate with and also to enjoy:\nCompensation\nGenerous remuneration package\nEmployee Stock Purchase Plan Enrollment \nVacation, Family, and Health30 days paid annual vacation\nAn extra day off for your birthday\n2 additional days off for volunteering\nPremium healthcare and dental care coverage\nAdditional pension insurance\nWell-equipped gym on-site with CrossFit equipment and a climbing wall\nCo-funded Multisport card\nFlexible working hours and work-from-home allowance\nFree underground parking with a designated space for bikes and electric scooters \n#LI-DG1\n#LI-Hybrid\nTogether, We Make Progress\nProgress is an inclusive workplace where opportunities to succeed are available to everyone.
