This role involves the analysis, design, testing, and commissioning of motor-control electronic systems and PCB hardware for linear actuator products. You will work closely with the Research & Development, Firmware, Mechanical, and Product teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable control systems from concept through production.\nKey responsibilities include PCB design, component evaluation, product testing, and supporting in-house assembly and quality-control activities. You will also prepare technical documentation, collaborate with overseas manufacturing partners, and contribute to the development of new actuator controllers and related electronic products.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign and develop PCBs and flexible PCBs (FPC) for a variety of products \nPerform circuit analysis, schematic design, layout reviews, and design validation \nConduct product testing, debugging, and commissioning of new and updated control systems \nBuild and operate test setups for stress, thermal, and reliability evaluations \nSupport in-house assembly, troubleshooting, and quality-control activities \nSelect and evaluate components for performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability \nPrepare engineering documentation, including specifications, test procedures, and production packages \nCollaborate with firmware, mechanical, and product teams throughout the full product lifecycle \nWork with overseas manufacturing partners on DFM, prototyping, and production readiness \nContribute to the development of new products and the continuous improvement of existing ones \nAct as Product Owner for developing, procuring, and launching electronic products \nRequired Skills and Experiences\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineeringor a related field \nMinimum 5 years of experience with PCB CAD tools and hardware product development \nStrong understanding of the full product development lifecycle, from requirements to production release \nGood understanding of motor control systems and their associated challenges \nMethodical, organized approach to testing, documentation, revision control, and traceability \nStrong time management, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and with both local and overseas teams \nNice To Have\nProficiency in Altium Designer for PCB design \nFamiliarity with Microchip MCUs \nEmbedded programming experience, including C for microcontrollers \nExperience designing or working with test jigs / automated test setups \nExperience with documentation standards and version control tools such as SVN \nSystems engineering experience \nFamiliarity with root-cause analysis methods \nUnderstanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations \nKnowledge of North American manufacturing standards and certifications \nFamiliarity withcommunication and control
