This role exists because the company has grown and the administrative load has outgrown the two people currently carrying it.\n JOB SUMARY\nThe School Night Janitor is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing school facilities according to the cleaning specifications for each building. Cleaning tasks include but are not limited to; cleaning lobbies and common areas, sweeping and mopping classrooms, common areas and hallways daily, trash removal, dusting, cleaning and restocking supplies in restrooms.\nClean all common areas including lobby, reception area, elevators and stairwells.\nEmpty all trash cans, replace liners and clean receptacles as needed.\nSweep, and mop hard floor surfaces in classrooms, school clinic and common areas daily\nClean and sanitize restrooms, restock supplies.\nDust horizontal and vertical surfaces.\nClean up spills on floors and carpets as necessary (except blood spills - only trained personnel are required to clean blood spills).\nGreet people working in the school in a polite, respectful and helpful manner to ensure positive relationships.\nScreen and route requests to supervisor if necessary, provide timely and accurate customer service support.\nPerform other duties as requested or required by management.\n JOB REQUIREMENTS:\nMust have effective verbal and written communication skills.\nRegular, consistent, and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position.\nAble to pass a criminal background check and drug test\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States.\nMust have smart cell phone with email, data, and GPS location available.\n Who Thrives Here\nThese are our core values.
