Typical work includes preparing design documents utilizing load analysis, equipment sizing, ductwork sizing, and hydronic systems using AutoCAD and Revit software.\n\nResponsibilities: \nContribute to the project team to help meet project schedules and budgets.\nManage multiple projects in a timely, accurate manner, monitoring progress against project scope and available resources.\nProvide drafting services and final engineering documents consistent with Progressive’s standards.\nAssist in preparing building models, contract documents, and load and equipment sizing analyses consistent with Progressive Companies standards.\nCheck code compliance information as it relates to the discipline and any effect it may have on other disciplines.\nCollaborate with project managers, designers, and architects to understand changes to project design, scope, schedule, and budget.\nUse design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and BSD Speclink, for presentation and production purposes.\n\nQualifications:\nEnrollment in an EAC/ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s degree program. \nAt least one year of undergraduate studies completed by Summer 2027.\nPrevious Revit experience strongly preferred.\nBasic knowledge of sustainability and other trends in the design/construction industry. \nStrong math, analytical, design and problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate well.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook required.
