Financial Crime Analyst

As a Financial Crime Analyst, you help keep the bank and its customers safe by identifying KYC risks, preventing financial crime and growing your expertise in a supportive team. 

You will join a Belgian bank-insurer in Antwerp. The organisation offers simple and responsible financial services and builds long-term customer relationships. Together with your team, you assess KYC risks and help create a safe and trusted banking environment. 

Your Tasks 

• Carry out risk analyses and customer checks from onboarding onwards. 
• Review high-risk customers, sanctions alerts, PEPs and adverse media alerts. 
• Prepare clear case files and decide on the right next steps. 
• Make confident decisions and ask for support when needed. 
• Record your analysis and conclusions clearly in the systems. 
• Work closely with Compliance, branches, management and your team. 
• Share ideas to improve prevention, automation and daily processes.
