Sorts and distributes bill of materials and drawings. Responsible for revisions, corrections, deletions and additions to work bill and drawings. Detects critical needs, advises planners and supervisors. Insures accurate computer inventory records of material usage.\nPRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nSafety: Uphold all safety protocols and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment\n5S: Maintain clean, organized work areas\nReceive assignments and instructions from supervisor - both verbal and written.\nAble to request, locate, move and deliver needed parts\nAble to retrieve consumables, shop supplies and kanban items\nUnderstands part shortage and can address or fulfill\nAble to update area’s schedules and utilize schedule in order to prep parts\nKnowledgeable and able to use associated SAP functions\nTrain new operators\nDistributes bills of material to proper work centers\nProcesses engineering change orders, non-conformance reports and defective material reports\nUpdate schedules, and expedites short parts as required\nInforms planner/supervisor of variances, needs and opportunities\nReports on material usage, audits the exception reports\nVerifies completeness of assemblies and routes to next user\nMaintains queue areas, buffers and monitors work in process as it pertains to the manufacturing scheme\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nOperate forklifts, hand trucks and other powered industrial vehicles as required\nProficiency with hand tools\nAttention to detail and with the ability to interpret complex technical drawings\nTeam-orientated mindset with strong communication skills\nCommitment to safety, precision, craftsmanship\nAll materials and components used throughout the plant.
