SUMMARY\nThis position assumes responsibility for a major phase of industrial engineering work including method analysis, material flow, machine loading, capacity studies, etc.\n\nPRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nFormulates designs and adapts industrial engineering functions for computer applications.\nMakes evaluations of results achieved in the performance toward objectives and makes recommendations to gain maximum benefits.\nDevelops and establishes training curves for various occupational groups.\nWorks closely with manufacturing management to develop systems, procedures, and techniques to reduce maintenance costs and improve production output.\nIdentifies manufacturing problem areas, assesses present status and devises programs to make improvements.\nDefines and constructs reference unit data to be used in machine loading, plant loading, labor planning and capacity analysis.\nDevelops and maintains current manufacturing capability records of all facilities and distributes to other departments requiring this information to dispatch their duties, e.g., Sales, Engineering, and Production Control etc.\nWorks closely with Design Engineering in material analysis to obtain economical application.\n KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nStrong analytical skills and financial understanding\nA comprehensive knowledge of systems and production. \nIndividual is to assume primary industrial engineering responsibility for assigned work areas. \nResponsible for achievement of own specified goals. \nRequires minimal direction in planning and implementing assigned projects and to have the comprehension, resourcefulness, and good judgment required to implement projects in a timely fashion.\nTechnical abilities to handle the wide range of industrial engineering responsibilities. \nWork assignments will be rather general in scope and content with this position expected to develop plans and programs to identify problems and recommend solutions. \nWill have daily contacts with line supervision, Manufacturing Engineers and production. \n EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nRequired Education / Experience\nBachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations management, business, or other related field.\nPreferred Education / Experience\nExperience working in manufacturing production environment \n\nADDITIONAL INFORMATION\nKey Working
