Desired competencies include self-motivation, creative problem-solving, compulsion to make a difference and the ability to work well with others in a challenging, fast-paced environment.\n\nPRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nCompleting transformer mechanical drawings based on the internal and external layout, standard practices, and/or from technical advisories.\nCalculating dimensions, allowances, and specifications per standard procedures or general design knowledge of shop capabilities when standard procedures do not exist. Verifying and updating drawings.\nProviding technical support and training of others.\nAssisting the supervisor in the planning and scheduling of the design and detailing processes.\nAssisting on development projects as requested by supervisor.
