You'll implement automation strategies that reduce complexity, champion best practices, and serve as a trusted technical expert to teams across Prolific.\nWhat you’ll bring to the role\nExtensive experience administering and optimising large-scale Kubernetes clusters\nStrong experience with Kubernetes tooling, such as Helm and kustomize\nStrong experience with GitOps tooling and methodologies, such as ArgoCD\nProven experience with Google Cloud Platform services and architecture\nStrong knowledge in GKE and Kubernetes, including maintenance and optimisation of production clusters\nStrong experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation\nSolid programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript \nExperience creating developer-focused documentation and self-service solutions that enable teams to easily self-serve\nStrong customer empathy, with a focus on supporting the needs of internal teams (our Prolificos)\nWhat you’ll be doing in the role \nManage and optimise our Kubernetes clusters in GKE through Terraform\nSupport our compliance with SOC2, ISO-27001, and Cyber Essentials standards in our cloud environments\nDesign and implement golden paths and automation strategies that empower developers to self-serve while reducing operational complexity\nCreate and maintain infrastructure solutions that allow development teams to build and deploy safely, easily, and efficiently\nServe as the technical point-of-contact for GCP and Kubernetes-related queries, providing expertise to other Prolificos\nBe a part of our rolling on-call rota \nEven better if you have\nWe’re a multi-cloud team - experience with AWS and CDK is a big plus.\nExperience implementing/maintaining cloud compliance standards (SOC2, ISO-27001)\nFamiliarity with observability tools like Datadog\nBackground in implementing security best practices in cloud infrastructure\nWhy Prolific is a great place to work\nWe've built a unique platform that connects researchers and companies with a global pool of participants, enabling the collection of high-quality, ethically sourced human behavioral data and feedback.
