Are you seeking practical experience to supplement your academic pursuits?\nThe Prologis Summer Internship Program offers students of diverse educational backgrounds the opportunity to secure work experience within their field of study.\nOver a course of 10-12 weeks, our interns will get to collaborate on various significant projects that impact Prologis’ business landscape. Students will have the opportunity to interact and connect with leaders within the company and build workplace acumen through various seminars and Q&A sessions. Regardless of their assigned departments, interns will have access to local market tours in order to fully comprehend Prologis’ business and how their summer contributions impact the end product.\nPrologis seeks both undergraduate and graduate level interns passionate about kickstarting their careers while helping us further our industry leading work across the organization.\nA day in the life\nAs an Accounting Intern, you will become an active member of one of Prologis’ accounting teams, gaining hands-on experience with the responsibilities, systems, and processes that support a global real estate company. You will receive training and coaching from experienced professionals while contributing to meaningful day-to-day responsibilities and projects.\nThroughout the summer, you will utilize Prologis’ accounting systems and technology, collaborate with teams across the organization, and build your professional network. You will also become a subject-matter expert on an end-to-end accounting process, documenting how it works, understanding its key stakeholders and controls, and presenting your findings to team members at the conclusion of the internship.\nKey responsibilities include:\nSupport the day-to-day responsibilities and projects of an assigned accounting team, gaining practical experience with financial reporting and accounting processes.\nUtilize Prologis’ accounting systems, reporting tools, and technology to analyze financial information and support efficient, accurate reporting.\nAnalyze financial and operational data and communicate key information and insights to team members and management.\nIdentify opportunities to enhance, streamline, or automate existing accounting and reporting processes.\nCollaborate and build relationships with accounting professionals and cross-functional teams across Prologis.\nBuilding blocks for success\nRequired:\nPursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and will have completed a minimum of three years of undergraduate-level coursework by Summer 2027.\nExperience using Microsoft Office applications.\nClear verbal and written communication skills.\nAttention to detail and commitment to professionalism and integrity.\nAbility to collaborate as part of a team and willingness to learn.\nPreferred:\nCompletion of Intermediate Accounting coursework by Summer 2027.\nPlanned completion of education by Fall 2028.\nExperience summarizing financial data, presenting findings, or improving a recurring business process.\nDemonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes.\nHiring Salary Range of:\nUndergraduate: $25-$30 per hour.
