This includes a deep understanding of the market dynamics, developing and maintaining relationships with brokers and customers, partnering with in-house property management and construction teams and leading the marketing strategy for Prologis’ Northern Virginia Market which totals approximately 4.6 million square feet.\nKey responsibilities include:\nDemonstrates extensive local market knowledge and strong external relationships including high visibility with key brokers and local real estate community. Establish a favorable market presence for Prologis by cultivating and maintaining a positive and professional relationship with the local brokerage and real estate communities, government officials and prospective customers.\nProficient in all areas of Leasing with minimal to no guidance with a commercial mindset with competitive drive and focus on maximizing revenues and branding for Prologis.\nPartners with and assists Market Officer with capital deployment activities.\nCoordinate construction of customer’s spaces with project management team/OCM including space planning, construction estimating, etc. Interface with OCM and architects, engineers, general contractors and other consultants to ensure smooth transition for customers.\nWork with Market leadership to identify, negotiate and execute on acquisition targets and new business initiatives. Helps source new acquisitions/development opportunities and participate in underwriting and due diligence.\nShows proficiency with prioritizing performance on Essentials Sales (ESM Partnership), leasing related data KPI’s, leasing related Customer Centricity, Change through Innovation & Operational Excellence and Culture & Talent Initiatives.\nDirect oversight of support staff to ensure quality work is being generated while adhering to company policies and standards.\nBuilding blocks for success\nRequired:\n7+ Years of experience of experience in asset management, leasing and brokerage field and related business experience in connection with the sourcing, negotiation, and execution of commercial leases/contracts.\nMust have a current Real Estate sales license in the State of Virginia or be able to obtain a license within six months of commencing employment. Please note that the company will cover relevant, associated costs and will consider the reasonable time spent acquiring the license as part of work hours.\nStrong communication skills, decisiveness, and gravitas. Cultivates strong partnerships with peers and stakeholders both internally and externally.\nDrive for results - A proven ability to meet targeted goals and objectives, bottom line oriented, push self and others for results. \nStrong background in institutional real estate and investments.\nExtensive transaction experience. Deal closer.\nProven track record in analyzing, underwriting, negotiating and closing commercial real estate.\nPC Proficiency to include but not limited to MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.),\nPreferred: \nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate or related field.\nProficiency of SalesForce CRM, and ability to learn company specific software.\nExperience in property management and real estate development.\nHiring Salary Range of $168k - $200k.
