With unmatched scale, innovation and expertise, Prologis is a category of one-not just shaping the future of logistics but building what comes next.Job Title:\nTax ManagerCompany:\nPrologis\nTitle: Tax Manager\nLocation: Denver, CO\nA day in the life\nThe Tax Manager supports Prologis’ Corporate Tax Department with a focus on U.S. domestic tax matters, including federal, state, and local tax compliance, tax research, taxable income forecasting, international tax, and REIT testing. This role reviews tax filings, quarterly projections, REIT tests, and tax-related financial reporting work to support accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting. The Tax Manager also conducts technical tax research and supports modeling of tax liabilities and credits. The role works closely with cross-functional teams globally and with internal and external stakeholders.\nKey responsibilities include:\nReview partnership, corporate, and REIT tax returns to support complete and timely federal, state, and local filings.\nReview quarterly tax projections and support estimated tax payment calculations.\nReview quarterly REIT qualification tests.\nConduct tax research and prepare or review technical tax memoranda for internal and external stakeholders.\nModel tax liabilities, including applicable tax credits, for corporate taxpayers.\nReview GAAP financial statements and support the preparation or review of deferred tax workpapers, financial statement disclosures, and footnotes.\nMonitor tax attributes, tax contingencies, and valuation allowances to support compliance with applicable financial reporting requirements.\nBuilding blocks for success\nRequired:\n6+ years of public accounting experience.\nExperience with partnership taxation.\nExperience with corporate income taxation.\nAbility to perform detailed accounting and tax analysis accurately.\nAbility to research and evaluate technical tax matters.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.\nStrong organizational skills.\nPreferred:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nMaster of Science in Taxation (MST) and/or CPA.\nExperience with real estate partnership taxation and/or REITs.\nBig Four public accounting experience.\nExperience using Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Visio in a professional environment.\nDemonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes.\nHiring Salary Range of: $124,000.00 - $155,000.00.
