As Controller, you’ll provide hands-on leadership and management in the areas of accounting and financial reporting and act as a vital strategic partner to the success of the company. This position reports to the division Vice President/General Manager and has dotted line reporting to the Vice President of Finance.\nAre you passionate about this work?\nBe a key business partner to analyze financial and operational results, identify performance drivers and risks, and provide management with actionable insights on profitability, budget performance, and operating effectiveness.\n\nEnsure financial statements are accurate, complete, timely, and prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.\n\nLead the annual budget, periodic forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes in partnership with business leaders.\n\nOversee contract and order reviews to ensure accurate revenue recognition, documentation, and compliance with ASC 606.\n\nOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including cutoff, journal entries, account reconciliations, inventory accounting, financial statement preparation, and timely management reporting.\n\nMaintains fixed asset records of the company, prepares capital expenditure requests and justifications.\n\nPerform job costing analysis to ensure actual costs are accurate and projections accurately forecast the expected outcome of projects in the portfolio.\n\nPartner with the Tax Department to ensure tax compliance and timely, accurate filings.\n\nProvide leadership for maintaining the company’s ERP and other business information systems.\n\nServe as a strategic finance partner to manufacturing, sales, service, purchasing, engineering, and other functions by evaluating business performance, supporting decisions, and improving financial discipline.\n\nDevelop talent through coaching, performance management, and influence across the organization.\n\nWork directly with Shared Service organization for key order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and accounting operations task completion.\n\nAssess financial and operational risks, maintain an effective internal control environment, and lead timely remediation of identified control deficiencies.\n\nPromote profitable growth by balancing financial stewardship, operational support, risk management, and disciplined decision-making.\n\nIf this sounds like you, we want to connect!\nB.S. in Accounting or Finance\n\n8-10 years’ experience in finance and accounting, strong preference for manufacturing environment\n\nStrong background in financial analysis\n\nStrong computer skills, specifically Excel and Word\n\nExperience with various ERP and software programs (Syteline preferred)\n\nGood written and oral communications skills\n\nAnalytical skills to synthesize complex or diverse information, collect and research data, use intuition and experience to complement data and design work flows and procedures\n\nMust be a proven hands-on team player driven to meet company goals\n\nWhat’s in it for you?\nThere's no monopoly on innovative ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team.
