For more information on Pro Mach’s brands visit www.ProMachBrands.com.\nAs a Controls Engineer, you’ll develop and program robot, PLC, and HMI controls software for robotic packaging automation machinery. You’ll solve complex challenges to exceed customer expectations and help develop some of the newest technology available in robotic packaging automation.\nAre you excited about this work?\nPrepare Robot, PLC, Servo, HMI software from existing software libraries.\nConfer with mechanical and electrical engineering personnel to prepare software modifications as required.\nInterpret technical specifications and application parameters.\nAssist installation team during install, start up and commissioning of new machines.\nParticipate in the start-up of new automation equipment.\nPerform software modifications to existing machines.\nCollaborate with mechanical and electrical hardware engineering team to execute projects.\nPartner with all other departments as needed.\nIf this sounds like you, we want to connect!\nA minimum Applied Science (2-year degree) with emphasis in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Automation or Robotic Programming. Employer will also accept individuals with over 2 years full time working experience in related fields.\nPLC programming, HMI development and troubleshooting skills.\nGeneral understanding of automation; including but not limited to high-speed assembly machinery, SCADA / Gantry / Six-Axis Robotics, FANUC robots and general automation technology.\nFanuc Programming and PLC Programming (Allen Bradley).\nDemonstrated understanding of engineering theories and principles.\nAbility to work in team environment and a focus on customer service.\nStrong problem identification and resolution skills.\nEffective attention to detail, high degree of accuracy.\nSound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.\nExperience with AutoCAD and blueprint reading preferred.\nWillingness to participate in a shared customer on-call rotation.\nWillingness to travel.\nWhat’s in it for you?\nThere's no monopoly on innovative ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team.
