Rennco, based in Homer, MI, manufactures semi-automatic and fully automatic vertical bagging systems as well as medical device heat sealing machines. Rennco is a division of Pro Mach, a leading provider of integrated packaging and processing solutions for over 20,000 customers worldwide. Through multiple brands, Pro Mach provides product packaging and processing equipment, PMMI certified training, installation, parts, and service for primary and secondary packaging, flexible packaging, end-of-line packaging, and identification and tracking.\nThis position does require design experience using AutoCAD.\n·Commission, download, test and debug controls systems on various types of packaging equipment.\n·Create full design packages including BOM, detail drawings, assembly drawings and layouts.\n·Check and validate all final design documentation, parts lists and drawings according to design and contract requirements, to ensure completeness and accuracy.\n·Develop PLC, HMI and Motion Control programs for assigned projects.\n·Provide technical support to the service department and customers in the field as needed.\n·Research and evaluate new controls products, giving feedback and recommendations.\n·Confers with mechanical design and manufacturing personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop electrical designs.\n·Educate, teach and provide training and/or resources to other employees when required.\n·May be required to travel for projects.\nComplete other tasks as assigned by Director of Engineering\nWhat’s in it for you?\nThere's no monopoly on innovative ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team. Other controls-related software experience is a plus. Experience with designing electrical schematics and control panel layouts using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electric or similar drawing platform.
